Hygienic cleaning, stain removal and quick drying in Dyson’s slimmest wet-cleaning design. The Dyson PencilWash™ wet floor cleaner removes wet spills, stains, dry dust and debris from sealed hard floors while keeping fresh and dirty water separate.
64,000 microfibre filaments
The absorbent high-density microfibre roller powerfully washes away wet spills and stains while removing dry dust and dirt at the same time.
Automatic dirt extraction
Dirty water and debris are removed from the roller on every rotation and contained inside the cleaner head.
Eight hydration points
The roller is continuously refreshed with clean water across eight hydration points for even coverage throughout the clean.
Clean-water tank at the cleaner head
The 300ml clean-water tank is positioned at the base for better balance and control. It can cover up to 100m² in low hydration mode under Dyson’s specified test conditions; actual coverage varies with the selected mode, floor and cleaning routine.
Ultra-slim, lightweight handle
The 38mm-diameter handle weighs only 380g in hand and steers naturally with a simple twist.
Low-profile format
The cleaner leans back up to 170° to reach under low furniture and into tight spaces without losing cleaning performance.
Motorised roller and flexing neck
A motor drives the roller for smooth, self-propelled movement. The flexing neck helps the cleaner head manoeuvre around table legs and other obstacles.
4-cell lithium-ion battery
Provides up to 30 minutes of run time on a single charge. Actual run time varies according to the selected mode and how the machine is used.
LED screen and two power modes
The LED screen shows the selected mode, battery charge and maintenance alerts. Standard mode is intended for everyday hard-floor cleaning. MAX mode supplies additional hydration for spot-cleaning stubborn and dried-on stains.
Compact storage
The wand stores on its charging dock, while the cleaner head sits in the supplied clip-on drip tray.

Suitable hard floors
Designed for sealed hard floors including tiles, marble, vinyl, laminate and sealed wooden surfaces. It is not intended for carpets or unsealed flooring.
Care and maintenance
- Use the machine only with water in the clean-water tank.
- If adding a cleaning solution, use Dyson 02 Probiotic cleaning solution or a suitable low-foaming detergent. Do not use bleach.
- Empty and rinse the tanks, wash the roller and clean the washable cleaner-head parts after use.
- Do not get water on the cleaner-head neck or electrical connections.
- Leave the roller upright to air-dry for at least 24 hours before refitting.
- Dyson recommends replacing the microfibre roller approximately every six months, depending on use.
