Using secure Bluetooth technology, the Xiaomi Tag communicates with nearby devices on the selected tracking network to help locate your belongings. When you’re close to the item, the built-in piezoelectric speaker can play a sound, making it easier to find misplaced items around your home, office, or while travelling. If an item is lost, Lost Mode allows you to add your contact information so someone who finds it can help return it. Apple users can also access the contact details by tapping the tag with an NFC-enabled smartphone.

Its IP67 dust and water resistance protects it from rain, splashes, and everyday use, while the replaceable CR2032 battery delivers over one year of battery life. Low-battery notifications ensure you know when it’s time for a replacement. 

For enhanced convenience and security, the Xiaomi Tag supports item sharing, allowing trusted family members or friends to help locate tagged belongings. Left-behind alerts notify you when you’ve left an item behind (supported on Apple Find My), while built-in anti-tracking protection alerts you if an unknown tag appears to be travelling with you.
